I sent the following email to Harry Reid’s campaign website on 5 Aug 2012:

“I have been informed by a credible source that Harry Reid is a pedophile and a cross-dresser. I’m giving you an opportunity to address those charges before I print the story.
“Your response? Can Senator Reid prove he isn’t a pedophile and cross-dresser?”
Here it is, Tuesday, two days later, and here’s what I’ve heard in response:
My, my… Using the same logic that Reid has been using in his accusations against Romney about being a tax cheat – that his accusations are based on anonymous “credible sources” which Romney must disprove – I have to assume that Reid’s silence on the subject must mean the accusations against him are true.
Does this look like a guy you’d trust with your kids?

Romney should state that he’ll release more tax returns when Reid shows how he amassed a $10 million fortune as an elected official earning $190,000 and living in a penthouse apartment, and when Obama releases his college financial aid records, his college records, his theses, and all writing he did at Harvard Law Review.
As for Reid saying that Romney couldn’t get a Cabinet position without releasing tax records…..how many tax cheats have been uncovered in the Obama Administration? Doesn’t that include the Cabinet Secretary who supervises the IRS?

If Romney were smart he would simply announce that he is going to “rise above” politics that debase the process and ignore Reid as he deserves to be ignored, then change the subject back to the failures of Barack Obama.
